Some of you may not know that SCI changed legal form this year – from a charity to a SCIO so our “year” has been very short. We closed the old charity at its last AGM and this is our SCIO’s first AGM (make sense?)
So we’ll be looking forward more than looking back. Come and join us and share our ideas.
Arrive 10-10.30 to start AGM as close to 10.30 as possible
AGM will take 30-45 mins so finish around 11.15 for elevenses
Maintenance 11.30ish – 1.30pm
Xmas gathering – food and activities 1.30-3.30pm
SCI warmly invites you to our AGM on 7th Dec. And to the whole day, or the bits you can make. We are having a day at the earthship – A couple of hours working on easy jobs AFTER lunch (10-12) followed by a pot luck lunch in the yurt which will be very cosy with the stove on. As well as lunch we will play a few fun and festive games / activities and maybe make a little something.
BEFORE lunch we will have our AGM, which will take less than an hour. We aren’t writing an annual report this year we are getting with the times and filming each of the SCI team sharing a few minutes each on what we have been doing this year.
On Nov 9th 11-4 we will be meeting at the earthship for a skillshare day of adobe earth plastering, where folk can learn the ancient skill of using earth, sand and straw to make beautiful durable plaster.
If this is something you’d be interested in let me know and we can add you, and any friends to the list. There is a limited number of places.
Our skillshare session is offered on a donation basis, for what people can afford.
Come dressed for getting muddy! Bring a packed lunch – tea and coffee will be provided.
In a time long forgotten, the storyteller would weave her magic with tales of enchantment and mystery, of faerie folk and mystical creatures…. beckoning all who listened into realms that only exist in our imagination…or do they?……
In this magical setting at Kinghorn Loch, we invite you to share in an evening of legends and stories, and experience for yourself the spirit of the shamans drum.
Cost: £ 15 per person and includes tea and refreshments. Spaces are limited so early booking is essential.
