Oct’22
Our Horizons year has started off with in full swing with harvesting, balance, the Autumn Equinox and early explorations of other sites where we may go.
We have had a lot of joy in forming and re-forming our group, co-creating our group agreements and developing connections across the different cohorts and with each other.
Among the many adventures: we have found mushrooms together, enjoyed a wee bit of woodland all to ourselves in our weekly sit spots, among many other adventures.
There are so many shades and sounds in the woods that this is a place to be still and listen.
We spent time roasting apples, we have heard stories about how trees take care of us.
In Pitmedden Forest, we discovered thrones perfect for new kingdom games.
We’ve learned to whittle and think about what others might need, as well as our own needs.
We are grateful for the pause, the inhalation before we meet again after the holidays.
