SCI is currently developing nature connection workshops for community leaders who work with young adults or children.

The workshops are based on 8 years of delivering nature connection to children and young people across Fife. Prior to that SCI delivered creative waste, and energy workshops to schools for almost 20 years. You might have seen one our plastic bottle greenhouses in a playground in Fife?

The nature connection training workshops will share our model, the Wilder Ways Ways with leaders who wish to work more outdoors with their groups.

The Wilder Ways Ways is a blend of the indigenous cultures 8 Shields model and the practise of non violent communication.

The training workshops will be experiential and follow the natural flow of the 8 directions to structure our day together. Your group will experience a day in the woods similar to one your group could have. There will plenty of time for questions too to help you plan your next steps for your specific group and work setting.
